Turned to the dark side I have

If a sign of turning to the dark side is to get angry then I think I have had it because I certainly got a lot of aggression going with this workout.

25 Double-unders
25 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood
25 Sit-ups
Run 400 meters
25 Hang squat cleans, 40 pound dumbbells
25 Back Extensions
Row 500 meters
25 One-arm Snatches, 40 pound dumbbells
25 Knees to elbows
Run 400 meters
25 Push press, 40 pound dumbbells
25 Stiff-legged deadlifts, 40 pound dumbbells

Time: 28 mins 8 secs

At the end of this a lay on the gym floor and one of the guys drew a chalk line around me, that was quite witty. Big 'D'...... I think ur watch must have stopped to get that time Lol. Well done dobber.

The scottish highland crossfit

Decided to take some time out and go camping again with my good lady yvonne. Whilst we were away the natural world proved to be a haven for the crossfitter. I found myself not only mountain biking but using large boulders to do simulated deadlifts and overhead press. Pictures to follow.

The non starter

Like I said yesterday, I felt really tired before trianing and again after it..... well today I was totally gubbed. I just couldnt get going at all..... felt drained....not tired but drained. Didnt do any training today. Think I will need to look at what I am doing as I do not really see the point of training and always feeling tired and sore...... I expect some but I remember days when I used to train and yip I was duffed but then the days I didnt I felt excellent.... this isnt happening just now...... always just seem to be tired or sore.

Ok thats my moan for the month over with.... lol

The long haul

Tried to get back into training today but was very tired. Still cant do much of the crossfit stuff due to my shoulder (going to docs if it doesnt clear up soon).

The workout today was actually meant to be a rest day in crossfit land but I have not been doing much so decided to try something........ SO:

40 mins of 3 minute rounds on floor to ceiling ball mixed with 12 concise stability ball crunches in between floor to ceiling ball sets.

I was so tired after this.

The alternative workout

Ok so I have not been doing the crossfit stuff for a day or 2 but I am still training. My shoulder is duffed from the dreaded O.H.Squats........ tried to do the training session the other day that involved press ups and couldnt, pissed off big time with that.
Anyway did the following:

Loads of pull-ups.... varied sets of 10 and 5 reps
Lat pull downs...... 4 sets of heavy. 200lbs for 6 reps
Dumb-bell arm curls...... 5 sets of strict curls.

Finished with 5000 metre row.

The 20 Minute wonder

Do as many rounds of the following iin 20 minutes:

5 Pull-ups
10 Press-ups
15 Body weight squats.

Didnt do this actual routine as I tried the press ups and my shoulder gave out on me due to the injury sustained from the dreaded O.H.Squats training day. Was not happy as I like press ups. I just did some rounds of Chins, squats and crunches for about 20 minutes but didnt count the rounds. Finished off with:

30 minute row
15 minute on EFX.

was so tired today after yesterday and I suppose the fact I didnt go to bed early last night didnt help. Felt good once i got going with this one. Started slow and gradually built it up. Was pleased with that time as I dont really run anymore. Well done big 'D' ya big shit for getting an awsome time.

The multi 3 somes

7 Rounds of 21, 18, 15, 12, 9, 6, 3 Reps of:

Over Head Squats
L-Pull- Ups
Knees to Elbows

Had to change the weight for the O.H. Squats to a Body Pump Bar so I could get used to the technique(never done it b4).

Time: 25 mins 20 secs

Didnt think I was up for this today but you all know what its like once you get going.... You say "Stuff it" Ive started so Im going to finish.

My long week end

Ok so I have not posted in the last couple of days. I looked at the workout the other day on C/F and I knew I wouldnt be able to do it cause my wrist. I think I will now have to go get it seen to as I have just been training through the pain lately but its not seizing up on me.

Not to worry though I will be back on track.... I reckon I will just have to do Cardio stuff or things that dont strain it. Watch this space.

Rest day ?????

Ok so today was meant to be a rest day but I wanted to do some more aerobic stuff so I did the following:

45 Minute row at level 6. Done 9342 metres.
The last 1000 metres were a sprint and done it in 3 mins 29 secs.

Then done:
15 Minutes on EFX at level 7.

After it all I felt really good and was asked "what happened to the easy session"? ... I replied "that was easy" considering how I felt at the end of it compared to when I finish the crossfit stuff.

Felt good with this one today. The squat was a suprise and a major booster in my training as I havent squated in months and still got the 100Kg. Trying to do more aerobic stuff hence the additional row at end of most workouts now.

A good session

Seven rounds for time of:
35 squats
25 push-ups
15 pull-ups

Time: 28 Mins 41 Secs

Followed by:

5000 metre row

Oh man! the squats were not to bad but got there in the last sets, the push-ups were no problem even at the end I was still battering them out..... BUT! ...... the dreaded pull-ups did their work again. I managed a personal best however in the first set so I was well up for it.

Well done 'T' for an awsome attempt today. Ur time was 42 mins 11 secs.
