Session Updates

Well here are the last two weeks worth of sessions done with the teams:

2 week ago

Runs over set course followed by linear sprint runs ( all run in a straight formation keeping together then when prompted the person from the rear of group sprints to the front. Just as they are about to reach it the next person goes). This was continued for approximately 25 minutes followed by 10 minutes of hill runs on grass slope.

Last week

Ok this week was different. On Monday (Quarrywood) I did simple football since it was guy fox night and a lot of guys were not there.

Thursday and Petershill Stadium was so much better as I got to be indoors. Decided to give them core work. I had 3 sessions each lasting approx 45 minutes. Mixed aerobic version of "simon says" and got the guys to take a leading role each for 2 minutes. This lead onto the core work which consited of Pilates Styled Plank and Oblique plank, Crunches, crunches with feet off floor, bent legged leg raises.

All gave it a good go but they were all terrible at it hence the importance of persiverance. Have got use of the Aerobics studio for the last session which is excellent.

Ok have to go for now but will fill in this weeks stuff later. Back to class now.
