The aftermath

Well I did say it would be a week before I could walk again.............. wasnt far off it............. right leg still big time fell out with me. Legs were not in a good state at all.

Anyway been training to some extent. Couldnt really get into it as I was too bloody sore but I did do some of this:

35 mins rower, level 5, 30 spm
15 mins stairmaster stepper, level 7
Shoulder workout earlier that day.

Did the following periodically;

Chins
45 degree lat pull down
T-Bar lat pull downs
Barbell bench pressing
Dumbbell bench pressing
Pressups

Pain storm Saturday 8th July 2006

Ok so I took a brain storm and did the Pain Storm this month. The following is a breakdown of my pain.

5 rounds of the following-

10 renegade manmakers with 5 kg dumbbell
20 weighted squats with 5 kg dumbbell
30 overhead snatches with 5 kg dumbbell
40 overhead lunges with 5 kg dumbbell
50 dumbbell swings with 5 kg dumbbell

Time: 36 mins approx

What can I say, I woosed out of doing the 7 rounds the other guys did but heh I didnt care as I was duffed. It was hard going and well done to all those who took part (see davies web site for details). Enjoyed it and now that it is allover with I am happy that i did it as I have decided to tr and get things back into gear lately. That was my first Friday for a while that I didnt have any alcohol at all as Im trying to be strict.

Getting on track

Well this seems to be a continous saying but here we go again.......... getting back into it.
This time its doing my head in and I have gained 10 lbs of crap over the last few months due to simply 1 thing..........................

Being a lazy f####r.

Anyway did this yesterday

5 rounds of:

400 mtr row
30 squats
20 press ups
20 dumbell swings

Time: 30 minutes approx

Was sweating like crazy but enjoyed it and was happy i did it afterwards. Going to big D's gym this saturday to do pain storm hopefully.
